Meet Yasmeen...

She will be attending the College of Charleston.

She will be majoring in animal science.

In high school she was Student Council President, president of her dorm and her third year being secretary for the 4-H club.

She received Honorable Mention for the American Legion Award during her junior year and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.

In the future, she wishes to be a Veterinarian.
What this scholarship means to her?
“I work real hard everyday even though I am hard of hearing. I don't let my disability stop me from completing my goals. I want to be a veterinarian. I enjoy working with animals and making them better. I want to own my own business so I can take care of homeless and other animals as well. This scholarship will help me do that.”
