She will be attending Winthrop University

She will be majoring in teaching.

In high school she played varsity soccer.

While in high school with her church community, she has taught Sunday school, led worship, been a part of three internships, and hosted middle school girl small groups in Washington, D.C. at a Foursquare Conference. She has been employed at Master Media – a 24/7 Christian call center – since she was fifteen.

I am called to fulfill my part in the position of a high school English teacher. Therefore, I plan to attend Winthrop University and major in English to receive teaching certification for K-12 with the help of Proverbs 22:6.  My ambition is to train up my students in the way they should go, so when they’re old they will not depart from it. With this career choice, I will have the opportunity to utilize my talent in public speaking and my love for reading, writing, and even learning!
